Question Paper Pattern (Based On Syllabus Note)
- Two questions from each unit will be set.
- Students are required to attempt one question from each unit.
- A total of five questions must be attempted. (Jammu University)
- Equal marks for each unit (suggests ~16 marks per question given total 80 for theory).
Expected / Important Questions
- Translate the given Persian passage (from Unit I) into English/Hindi and write a summary.
- Explain the literary contribution of [prescribed poet from Unit V] with reference to one of his poems.
- Provide critical note on the life and work of the poet [name].
- Translate and explain the passage from Unit III, discussing its theme and style
- Write short notes on:
- The importance of Persian literary studies in India
- The characteristics of classical Persian prose or poetry
